Winter Energy

Does winter make you depressed?

Many people suffer from winter depression. The cold weather and the shorter days can make us feel tired and melancholic. If this happens to you every year, now is the time to stop it! Embrace the winter energy and take advantage of this amazing season that is perfect for healing and restoration.

In the wintertime, nature sleeps. Seeds have been planted and they are waiting to grow again in spring. The same goes for humans. When the temperatures drop, it doesn’t mean that you have to go into hibernation; it means that you have to take it easy and recharge your battery.

Connect to your inner being

The cold weather and dark days can lead to doubts and insecurities about the future. By resting and finding your balance, you can transform your negative thoughts into thoughts that make you feel good. Let the stillness of outside encourage you to find what is hidden inside of you.

This is your opportunity to heal from everything that has been holding you back! Through solitude and introspection, you can connect to your desires. Now it the time to get clear on what you want in life. There are several ways to do this, for example by meditation, journaling or by being creative. Feel what is right for you!

When you are taking a look within, try answering these questions:

What do I want my life to look like?
What do I want more of in life?
How do I want to feel?
What do I love to do?
How can I have healthy relationships?

After you’ve taken a look inside and transformed your negative emotions into constructive ones, you’ll feel refreshed and energized. If you think someone else can also benefit from this blog, don’t hesitate to share it!
